A small studio in Redmond, with a name on it.
Who's behind this
Steven Russell Walker founded Tiger Copywriting and is its lead writer. His name is behind the business name, the quotes and the invoices, so if something goes wrong you know exactly who to call. It's a small studio that writes for businesses across the US, mostly by email and phone, from Redmond, Washington.
How we work
We spend more time on the brief than people expect, because a good brief saves a lot of rewriting. You'll be asked what you sell, who buys it, what worries them, and which pages you've read and wished you'd written. Then we quote, write the draft, and take one consolidated round of notes from you. It's the same eight steps for a $190 blog post and a full site.
People write and edit every piece. We say so on a page of its own, so there's no wondering.
What we won't do
Some things you'd expect from a copywriting site. We'd rather you know where we stand.
Invent a testimonial. If you want quotes on your page, they come from your real customers, with their permission.
Promise results. Rankings, conversions and sales depend on a lot that isn't copy. We'll write the best page we can, and we won't tell you what it'll earn.
Offer a money-back guarantee. You get two rounds of revisions and a straight conversation.
Show your work without asking. Your copy appears here as a sample only if you say yes.
Pad the price. Rates are on the pricing page, and the quote shouldn't be a surprise.
Pretend to be bigger than we are.
