Low Tide

Salt air, wet stone, a trace of driftwood. This is the candle for people who live nowhere near an ocean and miss one anyway.

It doesn't smell like a beach towel or a bottle of sea breeze. It smells like the walk back from the water, when your hair's stiff with salt and you're thinking about dinner. Clean, a little mineral, with warm cedar underneath so the room never feels cold.

Hand-poured soy wax with a cotton wick, in an amber glass jar you can keep for pencils once it's done.

Questions about website copy

Do you design or build the site?

No. We write the words. Your designer, developer or Squarespace template does the rest. We'll happily write to a wireframe if you have one.

Is this for a new site or one that already exists?

Either. Send the current URL and we'll rewrite what's there, or start from a blank page if there's nothing worth keeping.

What's the "meta" part of the Full Site?

The page title and short description for each of the five pages, which are the lines people see in search results. They're written alongside the page copy.

Can you write to my developer's layout?

Yes. Send the wireframe or design with placeholder text and we'll write to the space, including headline lengths and button labels.

We have hundreds of products. What then?

Product descriptions are $35 each, or $28 each for 20 or more. For a bigger catalog we'll quote the whole batch and agree a voice on the first few before writing the rest.

Who's responsible for the claims on the page?

You are. "Licensed", "fastest in town", "20 years" and so on need to be true, and you approve each one before it goes out. We ask you for the facts. We don't invent them.
