The short version
- We collect what you type into the quote and review forms, and the emails and calls that follow.
- We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote or review. We don’t use it for mailing lists or ads, and we don’t sell it.
- This site doesn’t set cookies, and it has no analytics or advertising trackers.
- Copies of form submissions on our server are deleted after 30 days. Inquiries that don’t become clients are kept 12 months. Client records are kept 7 years.
- You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time. Email support@tigercopywriting.com.
Who we are
Tiger Copywriting is the business name of Steven Russell Walker, 18691 NE 56th Ct, Unit BB, Redmond, WA 98052. You can reach us at support@tigercopywriting.com or +1 (425) 885-5338. This policy covers this website and the copywriting services we offer to businesses in the United States.
What we collect
Only what you give us, plus a little the server records automatically.
- Quote form. Name, email, company, website address, the service you want, budget range, timeline and your message.
- Free copy review form. Name, email, the page address, what you want the page to do, and any notes.
- Emails and calls. What you send us and what we send you. We don’t record calls unless everyone on the call agrees first.
- Technical data. When someone submits a form, our server checks it for spam and abuse. For that, it briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of the visitor’s IP address, the time, and whether the submission went through. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which can include IP addresses and the pages requested.
- Project materials. If you hire us, the briefs, drafts and brand materials you send.
We don’t ask for or want health or payment information. Please don’t put any in a form or an email. We don’t take payments through this website, and we don’t collect card details. If you become a client, we send invoices by email and the invoice explains how to pay.
What we use it for
- To reply to you, and to prepare a quote or a review.
- To send the one confirmation email that tells you your form arrived.
- To prevent spam and keep the site working.
- To keep business, tax and accounting records if you become a client.
- To follow the law and enforce our terms.
We don’t use it to sell anything to anyone, to advertise, to build profiles, or to add you to a mailing list. The forms never sign you up for marketing. The confirmation email is a reply to your request, and it has no promotions in it.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn’t set cookies, and we don’t use analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page doesn’t send your details to a font provider. If we ever add analytics, we’ll update this page first.
Who sees it
We do. Beyond that, only the services we need to run the business:
- Our web host, which stores the site files, form data and logs.
- Our email provider, which handles support@tigercopywriting.com and the confirmation email.
- Our accountant or attorney, when we need advice.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A buyer of the business, if it were ever sold. The same promises would carry over.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Copies of form submissions stored on our server: deleted after 30 days.
- Emails about inquiries that never become projects: kept 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records (briefs, quotes, invoices, deliverables, correspondence): kept 7 years, for tax and accounting.
- Server logs and anti-spam data: kept up to 30 days.
- Submissions flagged as spam: kept 7 days, or not stored at all.
If you ask us to delete something, we will, unless we need to keep it for taxes, a dispute or the law.
Your choices
Email us to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We’ll reply within 45 days, and we may ask you to write from the same address you used with us so we know it’s you. If a privacy law in your state gives you more rights than this, email us and we’ll honor them as required.
Security
We keep what we collect to a minimum and keep it for as short a time as we reasonably can. The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, though, and we can’t promise otherwise.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16, and if we find we have, we’ll delete it.
Other sites
If we link to another website, its own privacy policy applies there, not this one.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top, and we’ll flag any material change on this page. The version in force is the one here.
